Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965] is an American actress from the United States. Her best-known work is her role in George Lopez (2002 - 2007) and Marcela Quitanilla (mother Selena) in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez's character on the ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She currently plays Camila Diaz in the lead character in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie began her acting career during her teens. Salsa 1988 was her first film. Other credits in film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected to play the part of Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the main character in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She also appeared on the set of the PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she debuted her own line of clothing "The Constance Marie Collection". [2] In the same year, she appeared in an ad campaign for PETA and urged pet owners to neuter and spay their pet. Between 2011 and 2017, Marie was a major character in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth, portraying Regina Vasquez, the birth mother of one of the girls as well as the legally the mother of another.
