sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the oldest son of Francesco "Frank" Stallone, Jr. who was the Italian hairdresser, aswell being Jackie Stallone Sr., an astrologer/dancer. Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Sylvester was left paralyzed on the lower left of his face due to complications during birth. He now has his signature "snarling" expression as well as a slight his voice is slurred. Stallone spent some of his formative years in foster care because of the volatile relationship between his parents. They divorced later. Stallone was a drama student at the American College in Switzerland before making the move to the University of Miami. He left the school before having completed his studies and relocated to New York City to pursue acting as a career.
