Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Based on her observations of shadows in the earth, the artist spent many months perfecting a technique to convey objects in two dimensions onto canvas. In this way, the selected subject is transformed into an image of itself. This happens especially when using living items as well as those that are likely to perish for example, like fruits or human beings. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting, but the photo is the only thing that remains. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space, which achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension can only be seen in specific areas, such as near the eyes or in hair. Meade will sometimes integrate her painted model into the three-dimensional surroundings around it, which allows for them to interact within the context of their own. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting performances and installations.
