Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American Canadian singer and songwriter. She has released more than 20 studio albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk and alternative rock. They also have influences from hip hop music, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on 23rd September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother comes from Montreal. Her song 32 Flavors was composed by her and is performed by Ani.
